Exosomes

What are Exosomes?

Exosomes are extracellular

vesicles (EVs) with a size of

30–150 nm, secreted throug

 the endosomal pathway.

They contain proteins

(cytoskeletal proteins, enzymes,

heat shock proteins, nuclear and

cell membrane proteins),

nucleic acids (DNA, mRNA, miRNA),

metabolites, amino acids, and lipids.

As key mediators of intercellular

communication, exosomes play

vital roles in:

Gene regulation

Cell survival, proliferation,

and growth

Angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels)

Wound healing

Metabolic reprogramming

(cellular reprogramming)

They are essential in various

biological processes.

What are Mesenchymal Stem Cells?

Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC)

are cells that can be obtained

from various tissues such as

bone marrow, fat, and umbilical

cord blood.

They possess a range of

biological properties including

anti-inflammation,

tissue regeneration,

and cell activation.

Exosomes derived from these

stem cells contain valuable

bioactive signaling molecules

from MSCs.

They help maintain healthy

skin and tissue environments.

Why Are

MSC Exosomes Special?

.Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs)

naturally contain a wide range of

substances related to

anti-inflammation

and tissue regeneration.

Exosomes carrying these

substances have excellent

intercellular signaling capabilities,

making them highly valuable in

cosmetics, skincare, scalp care,

and various other applications.

What Are Platelet-Derived Exosomes?

Platelet-derived exosomes are

tiny biological messengers

naturally secreted by platelets.

They contain growth factors

and various bioactive substances

that help revitalize the skin

and tissue environment.

Platelets inherently play a

role in wound healing

and tissue repair,

and the exosomes secreted

during this process carry

diverse regenerative signals.

Production of
Autologous Exosomes

· Exosomes are extracellular

vesicles that act as key mediators

of communication between

nearby and distant cells.

· Autologous exosomes are

produced and secreted through

photo-thermal conditioning,

creating an autologous secretome

(proteins secreted outside the cell).

What is the biggest
difference between
Autologous
vs. Non-Autologous
Exosomes?

The biggest difference lies in their origin.

· Autologous: cells derived

from the patient’s own body.

· Non-autologous: cells taken

from another individual of the

same species (allogeneic)

or from a different species

(xenogeneic).
